As a pilot, I collected data about women's success in New England government leadership positions. The lopsided results are shown below. Out of 63 categories, only 6 reached the 50% goal or higher.
The 50/50 Project plans to collect similar data across all economic sectors and throughout the country to identify and publicize the magnitude of the challenge we face in striving to achieve gender equity among all of America's leaders.
