MAKE A DIFFERENCE
For a new book Marjorie Stockford is writing, do you know organizations in which at least half the top leadership positions are held by women? Any type of organization can qualify -- small businesses, divisions of large businesses, non-profits, universities, hospitals, medical practices, city, county, state governments, even organizations outside the US.
The 50/50 Project is creating a database by American city or town of the leaders within each sector of society – business, government and non-profits. As this data is collected, it will be input into a centralized database, then summarized and analyzed to identify trends across industries, states, types of jobs, etc. We will package this data and provide it to the media and researchers in order to publicize the level of the problem and encourage all Americans to consider how we can remedy the imbalance.
To accomplish this goal, we are looking for individual volunteers to collect leadership data within their city or town. We can provide guidelines of how to approach this process -- collecting the data, documenting it appropriately, submitting it to the The 50/50 Project's centralized database and publicizing it within your community.
